Funeral services were held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Burial in St. Paul's Cemetery with Ardoin's Funeral home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Bergeron is survived by his wife Mrs. Beatrice (Ruppert) Bergeron of Ritchie, two sons William Joseph Bergeron, Jr. of Lafayette, La. & Hugh Bergeron with the U.S. Air Force in Peru, Indiana, two daughters, Christine (Bergeron) Doucet-Johnson (Drew), Miss Lorine Bergeron, his mother, Mrs. Armide (Miller) Bergeron of Eunice, & five brothers, Raymond Bergeron of Tepetate (Della), Philip Bergeron of Jennings (Esther), Edward (Lucy) & Lawrence Bergeron (Bernice)of Lake Charles, Will Bergeron of Eunice (Gertrude (Toni) of Eunice. One sister, Mary (Bergeron) Manuel (Linus) of Oberlin and six grandchildren, Christine's children - twins Dorine & Florine Doucet, William Ernest & Robert Derring Johnson. William Joseph Bergeron, Jr. children, Stephanie & Rene'e. He was preceded in death by his sister Lorise (Bergeron) Ruppert & two brothers, Felix & Jimmie Bergeron.
