  [S927] Obituary. December 7, 2014 Raymond Francis Helbling of Dothan Alabama passed away Sunday December 7, 2014. He was 84. Raymond was born July 25, 1930 in St. Anthony, North Dakota to Christ and Rose Helbling. A funeral mass will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, December 15, 2014 at St.Columba Catholic Church with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 15, 2014. Interment will follow at Daleville Memorial Gardens. The family will be accepting flowers or contributions may be made to St. Columba Catholic Church, 2700 West Main St. Dothan, AL 36301. Raymond served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated Daleville Cable Vision. He was very active in the community serving the City Council. He was a long time member of the Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, March of Dimes and Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary D.A.V.A. In addition to his parents Christ Helbling and Rose Schaff Helbling Raymond is preceded in death by wife Josephine Mock Helbling, his sister Magdeline Helbling-Pacana her husband Joe Pacana, and brother Joe Helbling. Raymond is survived by his brother Terrance Helbling (Frances), daughters Tina Givens (Paul) and Shirley Boyett (Bill), sister-in-laws Rebecca Hendrix (Rex) and Janice Helbling, grandchildren Jessica Roehrer (Chris), Hannah Givens, Courtney Boyett and Ashley Boyett, great-grandchildren Eliza Grace Roehrer, many nieces and nephews and special friends. Pallbearers will be Duane Helbling, David Helbling, Chris Roehrer, Joey Paul, Jeremy Hutto, and Micah Shelton.
