Description: I located a very likely marriage record for Louis and Franz. (called Fanny). Her last name is off…could be the writing and transcriber just couldn't tell.

At first, I could not find him in the census records, but I did find four death records for children of Louis and Fanny. Seems that they were in Arkansas for awhile, since three children were born there. They did wind up in Tennessee, later on.
Death of Jeannette:

I could not locate her in any census records with a husband, but I did find one who fits, living with a widowed daughter in 1930:

Death of Celia:

1920 census shows more children, along with daughter, Dora married and her husband:

Death of Ella:

1900 census of Ella and husband, Charles:

1910 shows more kids (looks like Fannie in this census is Lena in 1900):

Using a search of the children's names, I found the family in the 1870 census. However, it would appear that Fanny had died and Louis remarried to a Lavinia (or it looks that way……no relationships appear in that census).
