Jo Anne BohleyJo Anne "Jo" Bohley, nee Adams, of Belleville, Ill., born Feb. 15, 1932, in Belleville, Ill., died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, after a long illness.Mrs. Bohley was a graduate of the Academy of Notre Dame. She was previously employed for 30 years by Magna Bank (now Regions) in the credit department as a credit investigator. Prior to that she worked at the Credit Bureau of Belleville, Ill. Jo was a member of RSVP, volunteering at the William and Florence Schmidt Art Center on the campus of SWIC on Thursdays, AARP and NARFEm Belleville/Swansea, Women of the Moose and she was one of the originators of St. Teresa's Young at Heart Club. She was a precinct committeeman for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin Nelson Bohley, who died June 14, 2005; her parents, Joseph A. and Edna, nee Bertschinger, Adams; a brother, Kenneth Adams, who died in infancy; a sister, Marjorie, nee Adams, Dahm; a brother-in-law, Robert E. Dahm; and a niece, Jean Marie, nee Dahm, Croddy.She leaves behind two daughters and a son, Jane Ellen Taylor of Valley Park, Mo., A. James (Gale) Bodnar II of Las Vegas, Nev., and Susan (Mike) Scott of Geraldine, Ala.; her grandson, Patrick R. Koons; two dear nephews, Robert L. Dahm and Ken Larkin; three step daughters, Marsha Conklin of Orlando, Fla., Susan (Doug) Amtower of Overland Park, Kan., and Allisyn Bohley of Collinsville, Ill.; four step grandchildren, Laura Conklin, Nicole Laws, Elizabeth Sewick and Nicholas Bloomberg; four step great-grandchildren, Christy Conklin, Raymond William Bloomberg, Brianna Laws and Brady Laws. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Funeral: Following Mrs. Bohley's request, there was no visitation. Cremation was held and interment will be private in Valhalla Mausoleum, Belleville, Ill.VALHALLA HOLTEN FUNERAL HOME, Belleville, Ill.
