ANSTED - Nora Marie Smith Deligne, 92, died Friday, April 26, 2002, at her home. Born Feb. 27, 1910, in Avella, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John William Smith and Elizabeth Burkhart Smith. Mrs. Deligne was the founder and retired bookkeeper from Deligne Sales and Service Inc., of Ansted, and was a member of Ansted Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Deligne Sr. Survivors include a son, Joseph H. Deligne Jr. of Ansted; three sisters, Selah Smith Maderia of Beaver, Pa., Florence Smith Winkler of Avalon, Pa., and Grace Smith Schaffer of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a brother, Woodrow W. Smith of Industry, Pa.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her caregivers, Judy Horrocks of Oak Hill, Brenda Morris of Ansted and Carol Bibb of An-sted. Joint funeral service for Mrs. Deligne and her son, Albert Deligne Sr., will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ansted Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Gawthrop officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens, Victor. Friends may call two hours before service Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions of sympathy may be made to the Ansted Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 388, Ansted, WV 25812. Arrangements by Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel, Ansted.
