Leona C. Wiegmann, 77, of New Baden died Sept. 3rd, 2004, at Clinton Manor in New Baden.
She was born Set. 25th, 1926, in Bartelso, the daughter of Edward and Margaret Budde Trame, and they preceded her in death. On Oct. 22nd, 1947, in Beckemeyer, she married Edward J. Wiegmann, and he preceded her in death Feb. 20th, 2004.
Surviving is a son, Daniel Wiegmann of New Baden; five daughters, Geralyn Singler and Jean Becker, both of Carlyle, Marcia Becker of Breese, Linda Henss of Trenton and Lori Breiner of Damiansville; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a sister, Agnes Huelsmann of New Baden; two brothers, Henry Trame of Beckemeyer and Edwin Trame of Breese.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph Wiegmann; a brother, Alphonse Trame; and a sister, Helen Horstmann.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and gardening. She was a member of St. George Parish, Ladies Sodality and the New Baden Senior Citizens.
A funeral mass was conducted Monday, Sept. 6th, at 10:30 a.m. at St. George Church in New Baden, with Rev. Donald Blaes officiating.
Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery in New Baden.
Visitation was at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden.

Edward J. Wiegmann, 83, of New Baden died Friday, Feb. 20th, 2004, at Clinton Manor Living Center in New Baden.
He was born on June 17th, 1920, in New Baden, the son of William and Anne Kalmer Wiegmann, and they preceded him in death. On Oct. 22nd, 1947, in Beckemeyer, he married Leona Trame, and she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Daniel Wiegmann of New Baden; five daughters, Geralyn Singler and Jean Becker, both of Carlyle, Marcia Becker of Breese, Linda Henss of Trenton, and Lori Breiner of Damiansville; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Pauline Lohman and Marie Hollenkamp, both of New Baden, and Estella Hollenkamp of Aviston.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph Wiegmann, and four brothers, Alphonse, Raymond, William and Hubert Wiegmann.
Mr. Wiegmann was a retired farmer. He was a member of New Baden Senior Citizens, Clinton County Farm Bureau and Knights of Columbus Council.
He was also a member of St. George Parish in New Baden, where his funeral mass was celebrated on Tuesday, Feb. 24th, at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Donald Blaes officiating.
Interment followed in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation was at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden.

Helen M. Huelsmann, 75, of Breese, died Monday, May 8, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese, IL. She was born July 30, 1930 in Bartelso, IL, daughter of Henry and Eugenia (Jansen) Junker. She married Ralph Huelsmann November 25, 1955 and he preceded her in death on March 29, 1994. She is survived by four sons, Dale Huelsmann and wife Nancy of Breese, IL, Dennis Huelsmann and wife Florence of Kansas City, MO, David Huelsmann and wife Lissa of Chicago, IL, and Duane Huelsmann and wife Sheri of Breese, IL; two daughters, Lori Divine and husband Brent of Carthage, MO, and Lisa "Tookey" Gebke and husband Jeff of Bartelso, IL; ten grandchildren, Nicky Huelsmann, Justin Huelsmann, Erica Huelsmann, Sam Swofford, Sonni Hendrickson, Evonne Huelsmann, Karlee Huelsmann, Josh Divine, Sara Divine, and Dylan Gebke; one great-grandchild, Jonathon Huelsmann, and brothers-in law & sisters-in-law, Mary Junker of Butte, Montana, Aggie Kampwerth of Highland, IL., Andy & Irene Huelsmann, Dan & Jeanette Huelsmann, Marcella & Tony Timmermann, Rite & Alvin Mourlam, all of Breese, IL and Pat & Wally Guest of Winterhaven FL. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jeffrey William Gebke and Abraham Huelsmann; three brothers, Norbert Junker, Willard Junker and Ervin Junker, and one sister-in-law, Alice Junker. Mrs. Huelsmann was retired from Tom?s Cleaners in Breese, IL. She was a member of St. Dominic Parish and Altar Sodality, the American Legion Auxiliary Post 252 in Breese, IL and St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary in Breese, IL. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2006 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Rev. Patrick Peter officiating. Interment will follow at St. Dominic/ St. Augustine Cemetery in Breese, IL. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2006 and from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Hempen Funeral Home in Breese, IL. The American Legion Auxiliary will visit the funeral home at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be made to St. Dominic Parish, Hospice of Southern Illinois or to the American Diabetes Association and will be received at the funeral home.
