Adam John Masseth, 79, Fargo, ND passed away today, Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at Innovis Hospital, Fargo.
Adam was born to Adam M and Philipina (Feist) Masseth in Napoleon, North Dakota on September 5, 1927. He attended school in Napoleon, ND. Adam J. Masseth and Mary Wangler were married in Kintyre, ND on June 17, 1953. Adam served in the Army in Korea and returned to Napoleon after leaving the Army. He and Mary lived in the Napoleon area until moving to Bismarck where they lived for 15 years. They came to Fargo in 1968 and have lived here since. He was the best husband, the best father, and the best grandpa in the world.
He is survived by his wife, Mary , at home; children, Marilyn Masseth, Fargo, ND; Georgina Young (Scott), Hickson, ND; Wayne Masseth (Jacki), Horace, ND; Jacqueline Masseth, Fargo, ND and Gene Masseth (Liz), Fargo, ND; 9 grandkids, Rodney, Jordan, Jared, Lacey, Ashley, Laura, Adam, Sarah, and Molly and 1 great grandson, Hunter; siblings, Mary Masseth, sister-in-law, Mandan, ND; Mary Kraft, Bismarck, ND; Sebastian Masseth, (Maggie) Bismarck, ND; Mary Masseth, sister-in-law, Phoenix, AZ; Christine Masseth, sister-in-law, Bismarck, ND; Jannie Masseth, sister-in-law, Bismarck, ND; Gean Gross (Val) Bismarck, ND; Rosie Vetter (William) Fargo, ND; Regina Reuer (Jim) Bismarck, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Philipina Masseth; Siblings, George Masseth; James Masseth; Julie Chimiliski; Peter Masseth; and Joe Masseth.
Funeral 9:00 a.m. Saturday Nativity Catholic Church, Fargo.
Prayer Service 5:00 p.m. Friday Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
Visitation 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday Boulger Funeral Home and one hour before the funeral in the church
Interment Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo
