Al M. Ketter Aloysius (Al) M. Ketter, 79, 514 South Cottonwood, died yesterday morning after becoming ill at his home. He was taken to the Allen County Hospital by ambulance where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Mr. Ketter was born October 5, 1893, at Kranzburg, South Dakota, came to Westphalia with his parents in 1896. On June 7, 1916, he was married to Rose C. Zeller in Westphalia. They moved to 514 South Cottonwood in 1918. Mr. Ketter was employed by A. J. Habiger Sales as part- sman. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. Survivors include his widow of the home; four sons, Richard Ketter, Pontiac, Mich., Robert Ketter, Parker, Colo., Charles Ketter, Madison, Wis., and Donald Ketter, Sherman Oaks, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Ellis and Mrs. Mildred Myers, both of Iola, Mrs. Lois Turnbaugh, Santa Ana, Calif., and Mrs. Anna Mae Karalius, Waterbury, Conn.; four brothers, George Ketter, Manitowoc, Wis., and Henry Ketter, Simon Ketter and Leo Ketter, all of Westphalia; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Domann, Easton, and Mrs. Betty Craig, San Jose, Calif.; 22' grandchildren and one great- HgrandchiKf Another son, Gene Ketter, was killed in the service during World War II, and a daughter, Esther Eileen Ketter, died in infancy. Funeral services will be at 10 a. m. Wednesday at the St. John's Catholic Church here with the Rev. Michael O'Malley officiating. Burial will be in the . St. Theresa's Cemetery in Westphalia. The parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 tomorrow evening* at the Friskel-Kinser Chapel. "home of a granddaughter.
