I believe that I located Jacob. Though he married in Manhattan, it appears that they settled in Ontario County, NY. I found Jacob, Rose and children in 1900, 1910 and 1920. The children in 1910 are the same as those in 1920, but in the 1910 census, his mother inlaw, Elisabetha Kindelberger Greene, was living with them (listed as Greeney in census). Elizabetha would have been born about 1823, such as the one you have listed in your db, but with no spouse. It is also the same location as her death. Wouldn't it be something if that was her? I will see if I can find a common thread, but the older records are not too plentiful.
