He died serving the Lord while working in Boise, ID on Jan. 6, 1995. He is survived by his wife, Carol M. Schauer; 5 children and spouses, Michaelle and Terry Buford of Zambalus, Philippines, Jocelyn Schauer of Longview, WA, Carlene and Dan McNabb of Kent, WA, Bob and Alaine Schauer of Santa Ana, CA and John and Kim Schauer of Spokane, WA; a sister, Mrs. Robert Rowe of DeRuyter, N.Y.; and 8 grandchildren. Preceding his death were his parents, Carl and Christina Schauer. LeRoy Schauer graduated from Ashley High School, Sioux Falls College, North American Baptist Seminary and was ordained at Calvary Baptist Church in Aberdeen, S.D. He served 31 years ministering to churches in N.D., OK, NE, TX and WA. For the past 12 years he had been an area minister serving pastors in CA, ID, MT, OR and WA. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., TODAY, Tues., Jan. 10, 1995 in Mountain View Memorial Park. The Rev. Gordon Bauslaugh will officiate. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m., Wed., Jan. 11, 1995 at Cascade Park Baptist Church, Vancouver, WA.
