Sethman , Mary K. 90

Mary Kathleen Sethman, 90, of Scottdale, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011, in Amber House, Mt. Pleasant. Kathleen was born July 5, 1920, in Everson, a daughter of the late Martin P. and Almena (Swift) Mulroy. Kathleen was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a retired employee with the Southmoreland School System, working for 15 years in the school cafeteria. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church, in Scottdale, and a member of the Service Employees International Union and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Scottdale FO Eagles No. 1007. Kathleen enjoyed family gatherings, especially at the holidays and Christmas. She took pleasure in cooking, embroidery and was a very charitable person. Kathleen will be sadly missed by her devoted family; her daughter, Kathy Dugger and her husband, Harry, of Scottdale; her son, Clarence Wingert, of Scottdale; her daughter-in-law, Charlotte Sethman, of Scottdale; her four grandchildren, John Wingert and his wife, Carol, William Jordan and his wife, Beth, Angela Sethman and her companion, Michael Craig, and Jennifer Sethman and her companion, Howard Hendler; her five great-grandchildren, Jacob and Stephen Ozoroski, Raeanne and Liam Jordan, and Nicholas Craig; her brother, Randall "Donnie" Mulroy, of Connellsville; her sister-in-law, Deloris Mulroy, of Scottdale; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Marion E. Sethman, in 2010; her first husband, Clarence Glenn Wingert, in 1944; her second husband, Marion E. Sethman, in 1968; her two infant grandsons, Michael and Gregory Jordan; her four sisters, Laurabelle Miller, Nellie Mulroy, Sally Galloway and Patricia Cable; and her five brothers, Martin P., Michael G. "Buddy", William and James Mulroy and Harry Strickler. Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale, (724-887-5300 / www.fergusonfunerals.com / GPS: N40 degrees 06.136, W79 degrees 35.278). Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Stephen Moore officiating. Graveside committal service and interment will be in Scottdale Cemetery.
