Body of Local Soldier will arrive today
The body of corporal Charles R.Armbrust is expected to arrive in Greensburg at 7:05 o'clock this morning from Hoboken New Jersery. The body will be taken in charge by the Coshey Undertaking company and removed to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Armbrust, Reamer St, his parents. Funeral services will be announced later. Corporal "Happy" Armbrust, as he was familiarly known, was 20 years old when he was killed in action July 30, 1918, at the second battle of the Marue. He was a member of Company I, 110th infantry, 28th division. Prior to the time of the enlistment he had been employed at the Kelly and Jones company. He was educated in the schools of Greensburg and had a large circle of friends here.
Corporal Armbrust is survived by his parents, two brothers, George Armbrust and John Armbrust, and three sisters, Mrs. William Smith, Mrs. Clyde Murtland, and Mrs. Koobloe(or c)h.
