Weiner, age 68, of Waterloo, Wis., passed away on Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at University Hospital, Madison, after a brief illness. He was born on Sept. 7, 1935, in Columbus, Wis., the son of Raymond and Emma (Sime) Weiner. He served his country in the Air Force. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1953 and from the University of Minnesota Veterinary School in 1959. He was a Veterinarian practicing in the town of Waterloo for 41 years and founded the Waterloo Veterinary Clinic. On Jan. 2, 1960, he married Roxanna Monosmith at St. James Catholic Church, Rockford, Ill. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waterloo, 4th Degree member of the Waterloo Knights of Columbus, a member of St. Vincent DePaul Society, and of Immaculate Heart of Mary Cenacle in Monona. He is survived by his wife, Roxanna Wiener, Waterloo, Wis.; seven children, Mary (Al) Kovars, Pewaukee, Wis., Thomas Weiner, Waterloo, Wis., John (Terri) Weiner, Casper, Wyo., Anne Weiner, Madison, Wis., James (Aimee Nolasco) Weiner of Milwaukee, Wis., Paul (Kristie) Weiner, Milwaukee, Wis., and Kathryn (Dean) Carl, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Roger (Lucy) Weiner, Columbus, Wis., Gerald (Joyce) Weiner, Waterford, Wis., and Philip (Becky) Weiner, Grand Rapids, Mich.; and a sister, Monica (Bob) Anderson, St. Cloud, Minn. He is also survived by 25 nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Kathleen Kujawa and Mary; and a brother, Henry. Funeral services will be held at ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Waterloo, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004, with the Rev. Bob Hughes and the Rev. Tim Gericke officiating.
