Pauline Wanner, 94, Jamestown, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown.
Pauline Widmer was born Sept. 21, 1906, on a farm north of Fredonia, N.D., the daughter of Andreas and Christina (Heller) Widmer. She lived on the family farm and attended rural school. She married Fred Wanner in November 1924 at Eureka, S.D. They lived on a farm near Eureka until 1948, when they moved to Ashley, N.D. He [died] in 1974. She continued to live in Ashley until 1984, when she moved to Ellendale, N.D. In 1998 she moved to Jamestown.
She is survived by a daughter, Elsie (Emil) Geisler, Jamestown; three grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Lou Mae Ostby; a son-in-law, Ray Ostby; four brothers; three sisters; a grandson and two great-granddaughters.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating. Arrangements by Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Burial: Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Ashley, N.D.
