Liedle, 92, Aberdeen will be 10:30am, Friday, November 18, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church, Aberdeen. Pastor Marcia Sylvester will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Olga died on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Aberdeen Health and Rehab. Visitation will be from 1:00-7:00pm with family present from 5:00-7:00pm Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main Street, Aberdeen. Olga E. Hehn, daughter of John and Katherine (Edelman) Hehn, was born on October 12, 1919 at Menno, SD. When she was 5 years old she moved with her family to a farm near Leola, SD and later to a farm near Forbes, ND. Olga graduated from Leola High School and went on to attend Normal Industrial College at Ellendale, ND where she earned her teachers certificate. She went on to teach at numerous country schools over the years. Olga was united in marriage to Helmuth Liedle on August 2, 1942. For two years they made their home on her parent's farm prior to purchasing a farm of their own near Leola. Olga loved the farm life and enjoyed helping her husband with their daily farm tasks. Olga was extremely creative and enjoyed doing crafts. She loved animals, especially her pet cats and what she regarded as the most beautiful animal on earth, the pheasant. Olga was very active over the years volunteering countless hours both at her church and the hospital. Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Keith Liedle of Aberdeen; two granddaughters, Tracey and Carmon Liedle and their mother Kathy Quam; two great granddaughters, Avah and Breyonah Padilla, one special friend A.T. Schumacher and several nieces and nephews. Olga was preceded in death by her parents John and Katherine Hehn, husband Helmuth Liedle, one son Kenneth Liedle and three brothers Albert, Raymond and Johnny Hehn.
