Full Obituary: Veronica Glasser Veronica Glasser of Bismarck, ND formerly of Mandan, ND Born in Cannonball, ND on April 10, 1919 Died on April 14, 2013 Service on: Friday, April 19, 2013 at 10:30 AM Visitation on: Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 4:00 to 9:00 PM Service Information: MAP St. Joseph's Catholic Church 108 3rd St. NE Mandan, ND Veronica Glasser, 94, Mandan, ND died April 14, 2013 at St. Vincent's Care Center, Bismarck. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, April 19, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan, ND with Rev. Shane Campbell as celebrant. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 4:00 - 9:00 PM at Weigel Funeral Home with a Women of the Moose Ritual at 6:30 PM, Catholic Daughters and Christian Mother's Rosary at 7:00 PM and Parish Vigil at 7:15 PM. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday. Veronica was born April 10, 1919 in Cannonball, the daughter of Adam and Catherine (Roshau) Geiger. They moved to the family farm southeast of Solen. She married Adam Glasser on January 23, 1940. They lived in Solen until 1985 before moving to Mandan. Veronica loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, gardening, flowers, ceramics, crafts, bingo and playing cards; especially with her best friend and sister-in-law, Maggie Froelich and niece, Lillian Schweitzer. She was a member of Catholic Daughters, Christian Mothers, American Legion Auxiliary, Ladies of the Moose and worked as a volunteer for Senior Companionship for 11 years. Veronica will be remembered for her loving way of caring for people. Veronica is survived by three daughters, Leona Silcott, New Salem, Gladys Madison, Mandan and Connie Glasser, Bismarck; on son, Leon (Karen) Glasser, Mandan; one sister, Kathryn Ehreth Cermak, Minot and one brother William Geiger, Solen. Veronica was preceded in death by her husband, Adam in 1985; parents, Adam and Catherine Geiger; four brothers, Christ, Anton, Frank and Adam and one sister, Rose Schweitzer.
