Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, September 14, 2009 at Thacher Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ with the Rev. Dan Crum officiating. Interment will be held in the Walnut Grove Cemetery following the funeral services. Pallbearers will be Biff Beale, Col. Jesse Thomas McMahan, V, Adam Voight, Dylan Smith, John C. Gann, and Bo Wendleton. On October 25, 1915, Alberta was born the daughter of Henry E. and Minnie E. Meyer Fuser, both of whom preceded her in death. She graduated from SS Peter & Paul Catholic High School in 1942. She married Col. Jesse Thomas McMahan, IV on February 13, 1984, in Harlingen, TX, who survives of the home. She was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ where she was involved with the CWF. She also was involved with Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Bank. Other survivors include: two daughters, Patti Patrick Beale and Barbara Ballard Wendleton; one stepson Col. Jesse Thomas McMahan, V; one brother, Martin Fuser; five grandchildren, Kara Beale Miller, Patrick Beale, Casey Wendleton Voight, Lindsey Wendleton Smith, West Wendleton; several nieces and nephews. Alberta was also preceded in death by two sisters: Henrietta Grimmer and Virginia Davis Holland.
