Lynn J. Bole Age 74, of Louisville, passed away in the comfort of his home following a courageous five year battle with cancer on Saturday, August 22, 2009. He was born in Canton, OH, March 19, 1935 to the late Lynn E. and Bernice Bole. Lynn was a 1953 graduate of Louisville High School and he attended Kent State University. He was retired from the Timken Company following 42 years of service. Lynn was preceded in death by a son, Lynn David Bole. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Marilyn; a daughter Lisa Bole of Louisville; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Stephanie Bole of Louisville; two grandchildren, Kelly Marie Bole and Joshua Lynn Bole. Services will be at 11 am Wednesday in the Stier Israel Funeral Home of Louisville with Fr. Tom Bishop officiating. Friends may call 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Louis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Lynn's wishes were for contributions to be made to the Louisville High School Band in c/o Louisville High School, 1201 S. Nickleplate, Louisville, OH 44641. The family would like to thank Dr. Eicher and the entire staff of Tri-County Oncology for the kindness and care given to Lynn during his illness and would also like to thank Mercy Hospice for their kindness and care.
