Burkhart, 91, Beallsville, died Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at his home. He was born June 17, 1916 near Jacobsburg, a son of the late Grover and Lena Fraley Burkhart. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Jacobsburg, and a retired employee of Ormet Corporation, Hannibal, Ohio. In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Perkins Burkhart; a brother, Grover and two sisters, Mona Kurth and Mary Mae VanDyne. Surviving are seven children; Charles, of Woodsfield, Linda Walter of Cambridge, Betty Gramlich of Jerusalem, Emma Caldwell and Carol Coss, both of Beallsville, Barbara Parr of Lewisville, and Deborah Chaplin of Woodsfield; two brothers, Donald Burkhart of Marietta and Glen Burkhart of Texas; twin sisters, Beth Arman and Ruth Bott, both of Marietta; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Harper Funeral Home Friday, September 28 where funeral services were held Saturday, September 29 with Terry Caldwell officiating. Interment followed in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Jacobsburg Church of Christ. BURKHART, Albert, 91, of Beallsville, Ohio, died September 26, 2007, at his home. Visitation Friday 2-8 p.m. at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville, with services on Saturday at 11 a.m.
