Mary Ann Stulb
Mary Ann (Pfingst) Stulb of Normandy Farms in Blue Bell, formerly of Fort Washington, died suddenly on May 25, 2008 at Abington Memorial Hospital. She was 76.
Born in Greensboro, N.C. she was the daughter of the late Osborne and Mary Clothier Pfingst. She was the wife of the late Joseph Stulb.
A graduate of the Springside School and Mount Vernon College, she was a homemaker and a member of Saint Jude and the Nativity Church in Lafayette Hill. Mrs. Stulb was also a member of the Philadelphia Cricket Club and was an avid bowler and golfer, crossword puzzler and reader. She was known as a prolific letter writer and would often correspond by sending articles of interest to her many friends. While living at Normandy Farms, she was very active in many of their social clubs. For many years she summered with her family in Rangeley Maine at her home on Dodge Pond.
She is survived by her four sons, Joseph Jr., of Cape Coral Fla., Mack of Plymouth Meeting, Christopher of Harleysville and David of Landenberg, Pa.; and five grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her two brothers Osborne and George Pfingst.
Memorial services will be held May 30, at noon in the Saint Jude and the Nativity Church in Lafayette Hill. Friends may call from 10:30 to noon at the church.
Interment will be private.
