Birth: Nov. 10, 1902 Yankton County South Dakota, USA Death: Dec., 1991 Winner Tripp County South Dakota, USA Lydia Kaiser Funeral services for Lydia Kaiser, 89, Winner, were held December 6 at Trinity Lutheran church in Winner with the Rev. Wm. Allwardt officiating. Burial was in the Hope Lutheran Cemetery. She was born November 10, 1902 in Yankton County, the oldest child of John J. and Anna (Gall) Bender. She grew up on the family farm in Gregory Co. In 1934 she married Jacob Kaiser, Jr. They lived on a farm in Tripp County until they retired in 1957 and moved to Winner. She entered the Winner Nursing Home in 1983 and lived there until her death. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by four daughters, Leona and her husband Dwane of Sturgis, Clara Vobr and her husband Leonard of Colome, Eileen of Redfield, Judy Swartz and her husband Frank of Hamill; four step-sons, Fritz, Heinie and his wife Verlene, Ruben and his wife Violet, Arthur (Bud) and his wife Idalee all of Winner, Eugene Bender, a brother of Scotland; 21 grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three sons in infancy, one step-daughter, one step-son, two grandchildren; and three brothers.
