Rosina Schuetz Schnaidt Birth: Mar. 6, 1881 Glinnaja Transnistria Territory, Moldova Death: Jun. 29, 1950 Kern County California, USA Rosina SCHUETZ born 6 March 1881 in Glueckstal, Glueckstal, Odessa, South Russia was the daughter of Friedrich SCHUETZ (3 Dec 1852 - 26 Mar 1933) and Rosina SCHNAIDT (28 Aug 1855 - 29 Oct 1923). Rosina SCHUETZ at the age of 17 immigrated to America with her parents and 7 siblings; Friedrich at 21, Magdalena at 14, Jakob at 10½, Karl at 10½, Johann at 9, Maria at 6 and Katharina at 4, via the Port of Bremen, Germany on the 8th of October 1898 aboard the SS "Kaiser Friedrich", and arrived at Ellis Island, New York on the 20th of October 1898. The family's final destination was recorded as Dawson, Kidder County, North Dakota. Rosina SCHUETZ married Jacob SCHNAIDT in about 1901 probably in North Dakota and they along with their 3 oldest children immigrated to Saskatchewan, Canada in 1910. Sometime during the early 1930's the family returned to the USA and settled in Kern County, California.
