KAUFMAN, Allan H., 80 of Welaka, Florida, passed away at his home on Thursday, August 2, 2012.
Al was born on October 27, 1931 in Wheeling, WV, to the late Henry and Mary E. Kaufman.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Wheeling, WV and attended Georgetown United Methodist Church in Georgetown, Fla.
He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a Mason of Ohio Lodge 1 AF&AM, Scottish Rite and Osiris Shrine Center where he was Potentate in 1990.
Al is survived by his wife of 40 years, Judith (Judy) Ann Kaufman of Welaka, Fla.; sons, Scott A. Kaufman of Benwood, WV, Kevin A. Kaufman and wife, Rhonda of Cameron, WV, David (Mike) Kaufman and wife, Melissa of Ocoee, FL; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren, numerous friends which included very best friends, Don and Brenda Wilkerson of Claysville, PA, Michael and Elaine Prodan of St. Clairsville, OH.
It was Al's request not to have a service.
