Services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, May 8, at McCabe United Methodist Church, Bismarck, with Rev. Rick Fossum officiating. Burial will be in McClusky City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm ? 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 7, at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck. Marjorie was born March 23, 1922, in Washburn, ND, to Emma and Albert Lang. She was united in marriage to Morris "Curly" Thiele on June 7, 1941, at Washburn. The couple lived in Detroit, MI, during WWII where she worked as a riveter. In 1944, they moved to McClusky, where she worked various jobs, working as a cook in the schools, and also at the grain elevator with her husband. They then moved to Minot in 1957, where she worked at a women's clothing store. In 1961, they moved to Bismarck. She held various jobs, but the final job was with Interiors by Florence, which is now, Interiors by France. During retirement, Marjorie traveled to the farm to help her daughter Jill with the truck garden. In recent years, she was a resident at St. Gabriel's where she was known for her Skippo skills. Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Jean (Fred) Hartleib, Mandan, and Jill (Duane) Small, Bismarck; her grandchildren, Charles (Vicki) Hartleib, Aurora, CO, Lori (Brian) Wingenbach, Mandan, Pamela (Ernie) Schlosser, Mandan, Terri Small, Minneapolis, MN, Duane Jr. "Bob" and Alanda Small, Mandan, Nikki (Patrick) Greicar, Bismarck; great-grandchildren, Jessica Windham, Roy Bailey, Rachel, Lauren, Jon, and Ana Wingenbach, Daniel, Lend, PayTon, PaxTon Small, and Abby Greicar; and her great-great-granddaughter, Layla Windham. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Morris "Curly" Thiele; her parents; and a sister.
