She spent 30 years of nursing and caring for others.She was also active in her church, the Seventh Day Adventist, where she served as Sabbath School superintendent, Sabbath School secretary, Young People's Leader, and church Deaconess for many years. Olivia died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at the Regency Care Center in Monroe at the age of 85.She was born Sept. 21, 1921, to Phillip and Christina Rueb west of Leola in McPherson County. She attended church school her first four years and finished public school close to her home place. She was baptized into the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Leola on May 16, 1936, by Elder F.F. Schwindt. On March 28, 1943, she was united in marriage to Julius Zumbaum. He died Nov. 2, 1953. She was then united in marriage to George K. Eisenman on June 18, 1967.Olivia had a saying, "You all remain faithful until the end, no matter what may come. See you all in the morning."One brother, Milbert Rueb of Jefferson, Texas, survives Olivia.In addition to both her husbands, she was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother. Graveside services for Olivia were held Monday, Nov. 27, at the Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery in rural Leola.
