  He was born April 16, 1930, in Park Falls. His parents were Charles and Theresa (Bradle) Hilgart. He married Charlotte Bruch April 25, 1963. She preceded him in death in 2002. The couple lived in Milwaukee for 35 years, until Delmar's retirement, when they moved to Park Falls in 1996. He worked for 35 years for Wrought Washer in Milwaukee. He is survived by three brothers, Leonard Hilgart of Berlin, Lawrence (Marion) Hilgart of Park Falls and Alfred (Charlotte) Hilgart of Park Falls; three sisters, Lorraine (Herb) Damrow of Park Falls, Delores (Don) Lenz of Park Falls and Barbara (Dick) Schneider of Park Falls; and by many nieces, nephews. other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Kenneth, Edward, Art and Norman, and his nephew, Herbie.
