The funeral for David Aipperspach, Wishek, ND will be Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church, Wishek, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, ND. Burial will be at the Wishek City Cemetery, Wishek, ND.
David Aipperspach son of Fred and Louisa (Stock) Aipperspach was born July 16, 1919 at the family farm home in rural McIntosh County. He received his education in a rural school and lived at home, farming and trucking, until his marriage. David married Irene Woehl November 6, 1945 at the Beaver Creek Baptist Church. He was later baptized in July of 1948. David was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wishek until his death. David and Irene rented area farms until they bought their own farm in 1957, where they raised grain, hay and cattle. They lived there until July of 2011 when they moved to an assisted living apartment at Wishek. David raised purebred shorthorn cattle and was active in the McIntosh County Shorthorn Association. He also served on the local school board and county school reorganization committee. David served as a Sunday School teacher, Deacon and church Trustee at the First Baptist Church of Wishek.
David died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at MedCenter One Hospital at Bismarck, ND. He was 92 years old.
David is survived by his wife, Irene Aipperspach, Wishek, ND; daughter, Louise (Ralph) Hammon, Lewisville, TX; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Hammon, Lewisville, TX; David (Brittney) Hammon, Great Falls, MT; Ivan Hammon, Lewisville, TX; one great-grandson, Thomas Hammon, Great Falls, MT; one brother, Ben Aipperspach, Wishek, ND; one sister, Ruth Vossler, Lansing, MI; several nieces and nephews.
