Birth: Aug. 11, 1866 Posey County Indiana, USA Death: Mar. 9, 1913 Posey County Indiana, USA Poseyville News, Stewartsville column, dated March 14, 1913: Mrs. Jacob Kemmerling, living near New Harmony, died Sunday morning March 9th very suddenly of paralysis, Mrs. Kemmerling was formerly Susana Katherine Faul, daughter of Mr. Jacob Faul, born Aug. 11, 1866 and died March 9th 1913. On Dec. 14th, 1904 she was united in marriage to Jacob Kemmerling and to this union one son was born, Jacob Henry, who is about four years of age. Mrs. Kemmerling's life was spent near Stewartsville and New Harmony and she leaves friends in each of these communities. She posessed those sturdy qualities so commendable of frugality, industry and good judgment; kindness to others was ever characteristic and her love and care for the members of her family made the home happy. At the age of fourteen she was confirmed in the German Evangelical church and has ever lived a constant member. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, one son Jacob Henry, five step children, her father, Mr. Jacob Faul, one brother Henry Faul, of Evansville, and one sister, Mrs. Adam Schettler, Mrs. Louis Mann, Mrs. Yetta Faul, of the place, and Mrs. Jacob Faist, of St. Louis. The funeral was held here Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Clarence Defur, of Urbana, Ill, conducting the services. A large assemblage attended the funeral, the floral offerings were many and very beautiful.
