She was born Sept. 17, 1902, in Prophetstown, the daughter of Frank and Flora Egert Kiene. She was a seamstress for 42 years at the former William Bradford Clothing Manufacturing Company, Davenport. She was a member of the Plus 60 Club. She enjoyed gardening and working outdoors. Survivors include sisters, Lucille Bellafiore, Davenport, and Loretta Barlow, Willamantic, Conn.; a sister-in-law, Mildred Kiene, Davenport; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephes, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
