Mr. Meidinger was born Sept. 14, 1914, near Streeter, N.D., where he grew up and attended school. He worked on family farms near Streeter, Gackle, N.D., and Sydney, N.D., and moved into Gackle in 1936. On June 26, 1937, he married Marie A. Dorr in Billings, Mont. They farmed near Gackle. In 1941 they moved to Hardin, Mont., where he worked for John Deere Implement. In 1956 they moved to Worland, Wyo., then to Manderson, Wyo., where they worked in beet fields. In 1958 they moved to Jamestown, and three years later they moved to Marion, N.D., where they did custodial work for the school. They returned to Jamestown in 1964, where he worked for John Deere and Farmer's Union until his ...
