A gifted singer, artist, and prize-winning quilter, her greatest love was her family. She spent countless hours with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren playing games, sewing, watching sporting events, performances, and being their biggest cheerleader. Lani is survived by her husband, Dale; children: Shannon Mandon-Scattini (Brent), Tim (Sharon) Mandon, Andy (Lori) Mandon; sister, Bonnie Welch Hughes (Don); nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son, Scott; parents, Alma Bannon, Don and Mary Welch. A Service will be held at 11 a.m., November 16, 2013 at Sierra Grace Fellowship, 1260 Wesley Lane, Auburn, Calif.
