Clement Himmelspach, 75, Mandan, passed away April 10, 2010, at Medcenter One, Bismarck. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 16, at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, Mandan, with the Rev. Patrick Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Parry Funeral Home, Mandan, with a rosary/vigil service beginning at 7 p.m. The family will also greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place.
Clem was born Dec. 27, 1934, to Albin and Magdalena (Koch) Himmelspach, at Yucca, where he was raised and educated. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Gloria Malson on June 4, 1954.
He is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Terry, Mandan, Bruce, Kansas City, Darrell and Joan and Dale and Razel, all of Fox Lake, Ill.; one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Viola, Jamestown; eight grandchildren, Jenny Himmelspach, Mandan, Joy (Mike) Crow, Sawyer, Dale P. Jr., Joshua (Kelly) and Adam Himmelspach, all of Fox Lake, Allan, Crystal and Wesley Himmelspach, both of Kansas City; and two great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Justice.
Clem was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Gloria.
