Cora Lindeman, age 91, of North Canton passed away Friday October 22, 2010 in St. Luke's Lutheran Home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Fulda, Ohio on December 5, 1918 to the late Frank and Elizabeth (Blake) Crum. She worked at Schaffer-Messerly Drug Store and WT Grant company for several years before retirement. She enjoyed fishing in Canada, bowling, knitting, playing cards, and checkers. She was the undefeated checker champion in the family. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Edgar, Albert, Carl, and Bernard Crum and three sisters, Helen Crock, Irene Noll, and Viola Crum. She is survived by her husband William E. Lindeman of sixty four years, three daughters Joanne (Scott) Smart, Beverly (Cliff) Hartzell, Shirley (Richard) Rogers; six grandchildren Jonathan (Meredith) South, Julie (Jeff) Wells, Michael (Susan) South, Bob (Jamie) Smart, Amy Rogers, Richard Rogers; and nine great grandchildren Justin, Alec, Ali, Andrew, Chrtistopher, Paige, Robby, Tommy, and Joey. She was named 'Big Mama' by her great grandchildren and loved all of them with all of her heart. She is also survived by two sisters, Marie Canel and Alberta Meister. The family would like to express their appreciation for the care she recieved over the last five years from the Laurel Valley Staff and especially Brenda, Remy, Barb, and Jana. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10a.m. Wednesday in St. Pauls' Catholic Church, North Canton, Rev. Fr. Christopher Henyk, celebrant. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel.
