  [S927] Obituary. The Jamestown Sun, ND March 12, 2002 Rick A. Kaseman, 52, Lakota, N.D., died Friday, March 8, 2002, at his home. Mr. Kaseman was born Dec. 1, 1949, at Bismarck, N.D., the son of Adam and Lorraine (Meidinger) Kaseman. He attended school in Kulm, N.D., graduating from Kulm High School in 1967. He attended North Dakota State University for electrical engineering and was active in ROTC. He entered the U.S. Air Force on April 1, 1972, and served until March 31, 1992. He was discharged with the rank of major. He married Venetia Rickard on May 5, 1988, at Svendborg, Denmark. They lived in Germany, Oklahoma and Lakota. He received his masters degree for systems management in California. He worked as a flight simulator instructor at the Grand Forks (N.D.) Air Force base. He also flew for Trans Merridian Airline and in 1999 started flying for Northwest Airlines. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Gackle, N.D., and the Lakota Fire Department. He is survived by his parents; wife; a daughter, Ysella Kaseman, Houston, Texas; two sons, Tremayne and Quillan, both Lakota; two sisters, Sue Bartholomew, Mandan, N.D., and Christina (Dave) Bhend, Chippewa Falls, Wis.; two brothers, Corey, Bismarck, and Curt (Kim), Jamestown. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Gackle, with the Rev. David Winterfeldt officiating. Arrangements by Haut Funeral Homes, Gackle. 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Lakota Lutheran Church, Lakota. Arrangements by Aaker Funeral Home, Lakota. Visitation: 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, and an hour before services at the churches. Burial: Lakota Cemetery, Lakota. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, to charity of choice.
