Services will be held at the chapel at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck, on Friday at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at the Wishek Cemetery. Esther Fercho was born on June 18, 1912, at Fredonia, the daughter of Gottlieb and Theresia Janz Fercho. She married Gustav Stebner on Feb. 25, 1934. Esther was employed with the Wishek Public Schools, as a cook, for many years. Her tremendous faith and love for her Lord sustained her as she struggled with a long and difficult illness. Esther lost her husband in August 1985. Also preceding her in death were her parents, three sisters, one brother, one daughter, and one grandson. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Bill Jundt, and Jean and Clarence Wald, Bismarck, and Sandra and Jim Grueneich, Kenmare; one sister, Ruth Pfau, Bismarck; six grandchildren, Mark Wald, Minneapolis, Naomi Jundt, Fargo, Tracy and Scott Christensen, Minneapolis, Sam and Wendy Jundt, Greeley, Colo., Susan Wald, St. Peter, Minn., and Mandi Grueneich, Grand Forks; and three great-grandchildren, Alexandria and Steven Jundt, Greeley, and Savannah Christensen, Minneapolis.
