"Eli Measmer, aged 59, died in his home near Cornersburg last Saturday morning of stomach trouble. Deceased was a son of David and Mary Neff Measmer and was born in Champion township, Trumbull county. He was a farmer in Canfield township many years, but had lived near Cornersburg the last 15 years. He is survived by his wife, Laura Koenrich Measmer, whom he married July 5, 1893, and the following children; Mrs. Heber Donaldson, Canfield; Mrs. Albert Follweiler Cornersburg; Hazel, Lydia, Vesta, Howard, Tillie, Hattie, Owen, Helen Ruth, at home and Mrs. Norlin Rothgeb, Calla; also two brothers and one sister, Albert Measmer, Austintown; David Measmer, Cornersburg and Mrs. Cale Baker, Austintown. Funeral services were held Tuesday."
