Frederick B. Schoeppner, age 59 of Massillon, passed away suddenly Saturday April 26, 2003 a the residence. A life time area resident of the Canton, Massillon area. He was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army. Employee of Republic Storage Systems for 27 years. A graduate of St. Joseph elementary school and 1961 graduate of Central Catholic High School. Member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Canton. FOE McKinley Arie #2370, CYC , The Ex-Newsboys. A contributing benefactor to the University of Akron's Accounting Departme nt and the Canton Student Loan foundation. Preceded in death by a daughter, Staci Ann Schoeppner; parents Rita and Bernard Schoeppner; and a brother, Jerry Schoeppner. Survived by his wife of 33 years, Shirley J. (McGrath) Schoeppner; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Tim Blythe of Canton; grandson, Justin Blythe; two sisters, Kay Stephens Smith of Cadiz, Ohio, Rebecca Young of Chandler, AZ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday 10 a.m. in St. Josep h Catholic Church of Canton withRev. Edward Beneleit as celebrant. Burial at Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Welch-Sekeres-Lewis Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Staci Ann Schoeppner Memorial Scholarship at The University of Akron Accounting Department.
