  [S927] Obituary. Posted: Friday, April 5, 2013 5:27 pm LEIPSIC Leo B. Roof Leo B. Roof, 82, died at 8:55 a.m. April 4, 2013, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born Dec. 14, 1930, in Townwood, Putnam County, to the late Lawrence and Frances Seimet Roof. On June 1, 1970, he married Diane Crawford, who survives in Leipsic. Leo is survived by his children, Sandra (Jim) Cirino, Patricia (Jr.) Bray and Marcus (Edna) Roof Sr., all of Texas, Linda Roof, of Georgia, and Beverly (Peter) Ulrick, of Ohio; a brother; two sisters; and many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death are two brothers and a sister. Leo was a lifelong farmer and retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation after 30 years. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2234, Ottawa . Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Gilboa United Methodist Church, Gilboa. Pastor Tom Graves will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in St. Mary Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of services Monday at Gilboa United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made towards the funeral. Arrangements are being handled by Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic.
