Audelle Mattison, 75, Winter haven, FL, died July 14, 1993, at the Winter Haven Hospital.
Born December 1, 1917, in Belltown, Elk county, a daughter of Harry and Lela Galbreath Disque, she was employed for many years at Warren General hospital as a nurses' aid. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, Youngsville, where she served on the alter guild and attended Holy Trinity Church in Bartow, FL. She was a member of the Order of the Amaranth, a charter member of the Farrahettes, and the first recipient of the Chief Cornplanter Council Den Mothers Award in Warren County.
Surviving are her husband, George Mattison; two sons, George Mattison, Jr., Royal Palm Beach, FL; Dennis Mattison of Clarendon, PA; a sister, Janet Smith, Corsice, PA; and four grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, and by a sister, Emogene Bolyard.
A memorial service was held at Holy Trinity church in Bartow, FL and at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, Youngsville, PA. Interment was in Barnes Cemetery.
