Edward Raymond Guiher, 62 year old resident of 6 Lacy Street, died at 1:45 p.m. Thursday in Warren General Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past 17 days.
Mr. Guiher was born in Clarington, Pa., on September 23, 1896, but had spent practically all his life in this area, residing in Weldbank before moving to Warren.
He was employed as a truck driver for the United Refining Company. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of Dinamoor-Schwing Post 631, Veterans of Foreign Wars; and attended First Church of Nazarene.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; one son, Donald E. Guiher, of Warren; on grandson, Terry Lee Guiher; two brothers and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Jones, Tiona; Mrs. Lillie Williams, Los Angeles, Calif.; Cecil Guiher, Millersburg, O.; and Harry Eck, Coudersport; also several nieces and nephews.
The Rev. John Z. Andrew, Nazarene minister, will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Monday and interment will be made in Warren County Memorial Park at Starbrick.
