Hazel Lucille Kemmer

Miss Hazel L. Kemmer, 66, of Summerville RD 2, a longtime employee of Owens-Illinois Glass in Clarion, died thursday in Jefferson Manor at Brookville.
Born January 4, 1926, in Armstrong County, she was a daughter of Thomas and Elsie Disque Kemmer.
Miss Kemmer retired from Owens-Illinois, now Owens-Brockway, after 47 years of service in the selecting department.
She was a member of the Quarter Century and Golden Emblem clubs at Owens-Illinois. She also belonged to St. Nicholas Church at Crates and the Alter Rosary Society of the church.
Surviving are two sisters, Mr. Reid (Helen ) Smith of Strattanville RD 1 and Mrs. Edward (Louise) Cyphert of Summerville RD and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded: three brothers, Lawrence, Forest and Paul; and four sisters, Garnet Kemmer, Margaret Lynch, Edna Baxter and Dorothy Edmiston.
Friends may call anytime after 2 p.m. today at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 today.
Mass of Christain burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Nicholas Church. Rev Thomas T. Tyler, pastor will be the celebrant.
Interment will be in the St. Nicholas Church Cemetery.
