Birth: Jan. 25, 1926 Lewisville Monroe County Ohio, USA Death: Dec. 5, 1971 Barnesville Belmont County Ohio, USA S/O Elmer R Stimpert and Cora Belle Anderson H/O Elvira Claus Donald E. Stimpert, 45, of Lewisville, an employe of Riesbeck Food Market in Woodsfield died Sunday morning December 5, 1971, in Barnesville Hospital following a short illness. Mr. Stimpert had undergone surgery on Tuesday and his death was unexpected. He was born January 25, 1926, at Lewisville, the son of Elmer and Cora Anderson Stimpert. Mr. Stimpert was a member of the Lewisville United Methodist Church, and treasurer of the Lewisville Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife Elvira Claus Stimpert; one sister, Mrs. William (Ruth) Wittenbrook of Lewisville; one brother, John Stimpert, of Washington Court House; two nieces and one nephew. Twin brothers, Robert and Richard, died in July 1957. Services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock in the Lewisville United Methodist Church, with Rev. Starling Perkins of Summerfield officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield with the Bauer and Turner Funeral Home in charge.
