n a previous email, I stated that Rosina Mandery (daughter of Jacob/1817)
was married to Henry Schmitt. I had difficulty finding further
information. However, I did a bit more research and discovered that they
had at least two children: Henry and Jacob.
1870 census:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/M62N-DP6
In 1930, Henry was listed as divorced and living with his aunt, Julia
Mandery Garnatz:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/X4WM-5Z1
I did not have any luck located a marriage or family. Did find his death
record, though and his burial card at Spring Grove. (June 4, 1865-Aug.
13, 1935)
Death record:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/X6WN-8LG
Burial card:

I did find several bits of information on their son, Jacob.
He was born on Mar. 29, 1861 and died on Sept. 27, 1937 (see death link):
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XZHJ-W4T
I was able to locate his burial site from the death record. When I went
to the cemetery website, there was no search, but I clicked on FINDAGRAVE,
and it turned up...headstone and all:

He was married to Lena Daiker on Feb 5, 1885 in Hamilton County.

Located five sons, in 1900 census:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MM8F-5J4
Lena was born on Feb 22, 1863 and died on Dec. 27, 1930. She is buried
with
Jacob.
Sons were: Edward, Louis, Jacob, Albert and Clarence. Giving you the
following information, as I located it.
Albert died in a motorcycle accident (June 6, 1891-May 28, 1921. He is
also
buried in Bridgetown and was married to Edith Applegate.

I did not find anything on Louis, born in April 1888.
Jacob, Jr. married Lillian Walkenhorst on Nov 30, 1911:

listed as John J. Schmitt.

With that information (John J.) I was able to locate Jacob's death
records and burial.

Donald.

I did not find death records on either, but did find some information in

all the children of the five brothers, and send anything I find, in a
separate email.
