James Warren Zimmer ? |???Visit Guest Book James Warren Zimmer James Warren Zimmer, 77, of Hampstead, NC., died peacefully in the arms of the Lord on Saturday, March 5, 2011, in Jacksonville, FL. Born, February 19, 1934, in Covington, KY. Warren is survived by his wife Cyndie, children Jay (Pam), Jeff (Nancy), Bryan, Brett (Karen), Nanci (Mike), and Mark (Sherry) who all reside in various cities in California. Eighteen grandchildren and two great granddaughters. He is also survived by a brother Robert (Linda) of Hampstead and Carole (Don) Linnemann of Edgewood, KY. Warren graduated from the US Naval Academy and served in the Vietnam War. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star. After retiring from the US Air Force he continued working in the Aerospace industry until his retirement 1994. Upon moving to Hampstead in 1997 he continued to work for H&R Block. Warren was a quiet gentle man with a warm and loving heart. There will be a mass and memorial service at the Quail Meadows Clubhouse an Saturday, March 12th at 2:00.
