Judith A. Doolin, 67, of Pana, died Monday, May 10, 2010 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. She was born May 20, 1942 in Pana, the daughter of Edward Lyle & Helen (Hilton) Koontz. Judith lived her entire life in Pana and graduated from Pana High School in 1960. She then graduated from Sparks Business College. She was the secretary for the Director of the State of Illinois Museum. Judy also worked at People's Bank & Trust, Merle Norman, and at local grocery stores: Frank's Food, Red Fox, & Cummings. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pana, where she taught Sunday school, bible school, and was a member of the Ladies Guild.
Judith married Charles R. Doolin & he survives in Pana, IL, along with her daughter: Toni A. Doolin, Grovetown, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 14, 2010 in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pana at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Terry O'Brien officiating. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pana. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pana.
