Schneider-Walenczyk, Pearl Schneider-Walenczyk, nee Neubauer Source: The Wausau [Wisconsin] Daily Herald; October 2000 Pearl Schneider-Walenczyk, 74, of Merrill passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2000, at Good Samaritan Health Center. Born in Merrill, Wisconsin, on February 21, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Molly (Plautz) Neubauer. She was married to George Schneider on April 16, 1948, in Merrill. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1974. On Feb. 21, 1976, she married Bernard Walenczyk in Merrill. He preceded her in death on October 31, 1982. She had worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Co. for 41 years. She enjoyed growing flowers, animals, and going up north to her cottage. She is survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Earl Neubauer. Funeral services will be at Waid Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. on Friday with The Rev. Earl Eckhart officiating. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery, Merrill. Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Waid Funeral Home, Merrill.
