Landherr, 69, of Rose Creek and a longtime area farmer, died of natural causes Tuesday evening (Nov. 10, 1992) at his home. Born May 4, 1923, in Rose Creek, he married Barbara Merten on June 9, 1951, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Nicholas of Owatonna and Christopher and Joseph, both of Rose Creek; four daughters, Mary Lu (Mrs. Gailen) Nelson of Rose Creek, Kathy (Mrs. Russell) Roe of Le Roy, Teresa (Mrs. Eddie) May of Stacyville, Iowa, and Margie (Mrs. Al) Kiefer of Mankato; 20 grandchildren; and two brothers, Clarence and Richard, both of Rose Creek. The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Rose Creek, with the Rev. Don Connelly officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at Mayer Funeral Home in Austin, where there will be a wake service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
