Ila B. Smith
GENEVA ? Ila B. (Winters) Smith, 72, died Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at her home.
Born March 7, 1932, in Freeport, Ohio, she had been a Geneva resident since 1991, moving from Perry, where she lived since age 9. She married Randall C. (Randy) Smith on November 27, 1947, in Painesville.
She was a nurse?s aide until she retired in 1980.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Geneva United Methodist Church, where she was on the Missions Committee for six years. Her hobbies were flowers and gardening, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Randall C. (Randy) Smith; six sons, James (Alice) Smith and Randall J. (Connie) Smith, both of Geneva, Martin Smith of Bramscomb, Calif., David (Kathy) Smith, Ray (Brandy) Smith and Robert (Angela) Smith, all of Geneva; sixteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Donna Hall of Harpersfield, Carol Butsko of Florida, Evelyn Stuemer of Euclid, Sandra Lawrence of Painesville; and one brother, Larry Winters, of Painesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy M. (Jeffries) and Albert H. Winters; five sisters, Alberta, Jeanette, Vera, Martha, and Betty; and one brother, James.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2004, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 26 River St., Madison.
Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2004, at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Perry Cemetery, with the Rev. John Gross, of Geneva First United Methodist Church, officiating.
