Lawrence W. Hujo, 39, of 1220 E. Kentucky, a wholesale poultry dealer, died at 9 p.m. Saturday in Jewish Hospital of complications after an appendectomy. He was the Kentucky representative of the Roller Skating Rink Operators Association of America, was active in the Amateur Athletic Union, and was instrumental in promoting roller-skating, both as a sport and a spectacle in Kentucky. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lottie M. Hujo; a son, Lawrence W. Hujo Jr., state roller skating speed champion; a daughter, Miss Eula Mae Hujo, winner of a bronze medal for skating; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George C. Hujo; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel L. Kunzler and Mrs. Nettie Schlaug, and a brother, Robert G. Hujo. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Maas' Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Remains at mortuary chapel of John Maas & Bro., corner of Floyd and Broadway. Funeral from the chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
