Maurice H. McCue McCue, Maurice H. baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Sunday, April 20, 2008.
Beloved husband of the late Mary E. McCue (nee Silliman); dearest father of Dianne D. Townsend and Phyllis M. Jones; dear grandfather of Tracy, Elaine, Scott and Amy; dear great-grandfather of Elizabeth, Dillon, Rachel, Jacob, Kendall and Maura; brother of Marie Bumberry and the late Charles and Jack McCue and Evelyn Cowan; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Mr. McCue was a member of Missouri Peace Officers Association, International Association Chiefs of Police, American Legion Post # 635 and VFW Post # 3944. VFW Service 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Mr. McCue participated in the Battle of the Bulge and was Chief of Police in St. Ann for 26 years.
Services: Funeral Thursday, April 24, 8:30 a.m. from COLLIER'S Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd. (Bridgeton) to Holy Trinity Parish (St. Ann), St. Gregory and St. Luke Lane, Mass 9 a.m. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice or the Backstoppers.
